I grew up in the shadow of Boxhill and worked at the biker caf Rykas in 1990. Finally got to see DRN at the Marquee when it was on Charing Cross Road in about 1990. I was right at the front and this auld biker babe looked at me and was like “your first time seeing them..?” Cos I was only 17!! They came on with loads of multicoloured silly string everywhere.
